61901 - Research on Design Method of Hydrogen Storage Pressure Vessel in the Hydrogen Refueling Station Based on Failure Mode
Due to the rapid increase consumption of traditional energy and the increasingly serious environmental pollution, many countries have carried out research work on new energy. And hydrogen energy has become one of the research hotspots, because of high efficiency, clean and pollution-free. With the rapid development and industrialization of hydrogen fuel battery and electric automobile electric vehicles, the safe and efficient hydrogen storage technology has become a major bottleneck in the development of hydrogen energy. Compared with other hydrogen storage technologies, high pressure hydrogen storage vessels are relatively simple and mature. The cost of compressed hydrogen is lower. Hydrogen refueling speed is fast and energy consumption is low. So, this technology has become the main development direction of comprehensive utilization of hydrogen energy at home and abroad. At present, most of the hydrogen refueling stations and fuel battery automobile in the world adopt high-pressure hydrogen storage technology. Compared with the traditional hydrogen bottle vessel, the hydrogen storage pressure vessel used in the hydrogen refueling station has a higher storage pressure and hydrogen embrittlement may occur in the pressure vessel materials. So that led to potential risk of leakage and explosion. And the hydrogen storage pressure vessel has the risk of low cycle fatigue failure because of the pressure fluctuates frequently during use. Considering the risk of hydrogen storage vessel used in hydrogenation stations, a design method based on failure modes such as plastic collapse, local excessive strain, brittle fracture, fatigue, and leakage is proposed in this paper.
