60903 - Application of Ultrasonic Guided Wave in LMPH Tube of Ethylene Cracking Furnace
Failure Analysis of Abnormal Corrosion of Steam System Pipe Fittings. In view of the frequent leakage and perforation of the steam system pipe fittings of a Chinese factory in a short period of use, it will not only affect the normal use of the pipe system, but also cause safety hazards. In this paper, sampling and analysis of failed pipe fittings have shown that the acid-base characteristics of the medium and the structural style of pipe fittings will all have a certain influence on the corrosion process. At the same time, through the analysis of the macro and micro corrosion morphology on site, it is shown that local corrosion is the root cause of the failure. At the same time, erosion or dead zone is formed in some areas of the pipe fittings, which causes perforation corrosion and causes greater safety hazards. Therefore, effective Countermeasures to prevent such accidents from happening.
Including strict control of the quality of cooling water. Do a good job of steam defogging. The opening and closing operations must be slow. Replace the pipe fittings with serious thinning and corrosion thinning in time. Change the material to 316L ultra-low carbon stainless steel, or high wear and corrosion resistant composite pipe. Carry out measures such as comprehensive inspection and structural integrity safety assessment.
