60905 - Comparison of Vehicle-Mounted High-Pressure Hydrogen Storage Cylinders in United Nations Standards and Chinese Standards 

The hydrogen fuel cell vehicle industry standard has formed two major international standardization organizations: ISO and International Electrotechnical Commission. Among them, ISO has formed a relatively mature evaluation system for electric vehicle performance indicators and test methods. However, in China, hydrogen fuel There are still deficiencies in the safety requirements and test evaluation methods in the field of battery vehicle components. In terms of supervision, vehicle-mounted high-pressure hydrogen storage cylinders are special equipment and require regular inspections. However, my country currently lacks research and exploration in this area.

As an important energy storage component of hydrogen fuel cells, vehicle-mounted high-pressure hydrogen storage cylinders have been developed internationally for more than 50 years. However, my country has not yet established a standard for type 4 hydrogen storage cylinders. It is still a blank, compared with foreign countries. my country’s standards in this field are obviously lagging behind. This article compares and analyzes the specific differences in the manufacturing and inspection standards of advanced technical standards by studying the United Nations standard ISO 19881:2018 for automotive high-pressure hydrogen storage cylinders, the American standard SAE J 2579:2013 and the Chinese standard GB/T 35544-2017. It is the difference in regular inspections and provides relevant reference materials for the standard development of my country's Type 4 hydrogen storage cylinders. Through standard translation comparison, it provides relevant basis for the manufacture, inspection, and standard formulation of China's vehicle-mounted hydrogen storage cylinders, and improves the conversion and application of standards.
